We are a local group in Bristol creating a community orchard for local people to make apple juice and cider. While there is quite a lot of information about cider making, the information about growing the correct varieties to make apple juice seems limited. Will this book help and can any body give any more advice?

Hi Kay,
The Andrew Lea who is author of Craft Cider Making and contributes to ukcider has his orchard in South Oxfordshire so I think the one in Cheshire must be a different Andrew Lea but then again newspapers make all sorts of mistake. Was the letter about cider?

Perfect. I was just thinking about where and how to learn more about cider. I’m sure that this book will add some spice in my life, thanks for the tip.
