By all accounts a very enjoyable day was had at the Putley Big Apple cider and perry trials yesterday. The weather was glorious and the ciders were slightly less overpowering in terms alcohol content due to the poorer summer last year. Anyone making cider and perry in the UK would do well to enter this event, it’s a wonderful opportunity to compare and contrast a whole range of different types of entries at a generally high standard.
