Rochford Cider festival


The first Rochford cider festival is tomorrow in South Essex. Rochford is a lovely village and an easy place to visit by train if you can get to London Liverpool Street Station or Stratford East. So I’ll be there early before the perry runs out :-)

    Thanks Maggie, it was a great day yesterday I hope today goes as well. Unfortunately there are no trains between Liverpool St and Marks Tey today because of engineering works so I’ll have to stay in.

    Favourites from yesterday were the Hecks Perry and Wilkins Cider – both gorgeous. Janet’s jungle juice was also a treat, and the sneaky preview of Gwynt-y-ddraig which was being held back in the garage!

    Just discovered your web site. Was down in Hockley visiting friends in September and paid a visit to the cider festival in Rochford with them. Never drank much cider before but sampled a few there. Especially liked the perry. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

    Enjoyed the ciders and perries but the weather was a bit cool on Sunday.
