Location. On the road from Redlynch to the A36. This little thatched cottage of a pub is a gem on the northern edge of the New Forest. It is a truly unspoilt pub with real local ales and now has real cider, Cider by Rosie from Dorset. Bar food is simple but tasty. Excellent pasties! Landlord Tim is very welcoming and obviously takes a pride in the good keeping of his ales. A different 'mystery' ale is put on tap each week.
