  • 13th Bristol Cider Festival (Fri 2nd & Sat 3rd August 2014) - Brunel's Old Station, Old Clock Tower, Temple Meads, Bristol BS1 6QH

Times: Friday 7.30pm-11.30pm; Saturday 11.00am-4pm & 7.30pm-11.30pm
Admission: Advanced tickets are £7.00 per session available from the box office on 01373 466626 or the CLS Tickets website, £8.00 on the door. Any unsold tickets will be made available on the door - but buying your tickets in advance is highly as evening sessions always sell out. Tickets on sale from the Pavilion Box Office now.
The Bristol Winter Cider Festival is one of the largest gatherings of real ciders and perries - and cider and perry drinkers - in the West. On offer will be over 100 ciders and perries including award-winning ciders from Somerset, Herefordshire, Hampshire and South Wales - as well as hog roast rolls and cheese platters, and a range of soft drinks for the drivers.
As well as the cider and perry, the Bristol Cider Festival will offer the best in local entertainment. Somerset's premier Wurzels tribute band The Mangledwurzels will be playing a full show at all three sessions, providing their own brand of Wurzels-flavoured, cider-fuelled Scrumpy & Western entertainment to help you drink up thy cider. The Mangledwurzels have played at all CiderFestivals.co.uk festivals across the country from Norwich to Swansea - and are guaranteed to entertain.

  • West Country Cider and Sausage Festival - Saturday 3rd - Sunday 4th May - Southbank Club, Dean Lane, Bristol

Bristol Cider Shop’s annual bank holiday knees-up is back! There will be over 30 varieties of the new season’s finest artisan cider and perry to try, along with a sizzling array of sausages on the BBQ. Entry is free during the day (12-6) and you are welcome to bring the family. Tickets for Sat/ Sun night (7-12) are £5, when there will be live music and a proper West Country party atmosphere!   • Charity Wassail (Sat 11th Jan 2014) - Rich's Farmhouse Cider, Mill Farm, Watchfield, Highbridge, Somerset TA9 4RD (01278 783651)

Details: Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club in association with Rich's Farmhouse Cider are holding their annual Wassail to raise money for charity (and ensure a good crop of apples, of course!). Somerset's premier Wurzels tribute band The Mangledwurzels will be providing the entertainment. Bar 'til midnight, hog roast and hot mulled cider available. Tickets on sale on 01278 783651.

September 2013

The festival will take place on 6th and 7th September at West Bromwich Town Hall from 12-10.30pm, and will showcase 120 ciders and perries from all over the country, and 10 real ales from Wye Valley and Beowulf Breweries. This is a brand new ambitious festival and the largest range of ciders and perries seen within 30 miles.

July 2013

South East Essex CIDER & PERRY FESTIVAL (JULY 5TH - 7TH) at Marlborough Head Pub, Rochford SS4 1AX

2 minute walk from Rochford Railway Station (Liverpool Street to Southend line). At least 18 Ciders and 11 Perries. Free Admission. Real ales on in pub.

Bristol Cider Shop's annual bank holiday knees-up is back! As ever, there will be over 30 varieties of quality local cider and perry on offer - and a dazzling array of sausages :) This year, there will also be live music and lots of other activities, including cider tastings, a cider quiz and even cider speed-dating! Entry to the festival is free during the day (12.00 - 6.00) on the Saturday and all day on the Sunday. Tickets for the Saturday night party cost £5. The Continental's famous Beer Festival returns with the usual 100+ ales including at least 20 ciders and perrys from top artisan producers from around the UK and beyond. Plus great food (including the popular hog roast), great live music and a fabulous atmosphere to be found nowhere else. Entry is free!
