About
Scrumpy Jack had its origins at Symonds Cider, in Herefordshire, when it was maintained and developed as a premium naturally produced cider. Bill Symonds is the producers grandfather.
The website says: "I wanted to start again and maintain some of the family traditions, knowhow and recipes... ...The aim is to make a naturally refreshing cider full of apple flavour just like my grandfather used too."
Sarah's Cider started in November 2004 with just 100 gallons and continues today supplying cider to many cider festivals, although it is mostly available in the Hereford/Ledbury areas, including Saxtys wine bar in Widemarsh Street, Hereford, which is owned and run by Edward Symonds.
Sarah's Cider is hand crafted from home produced apples at The Farm, Bosbury in rural Herefordshire. The best traditions are maintained and enhanced by 21st century quality control. The Farm is also a major producer to English Aromatic Hops for the beer producers of UK and abroad.
Products
Their produce includes bottled sparkling ciders and a Medium Dry and a Medium Sweet available in 10 and 20 litre bag in box.
