Talk:A visit to Rose
From Ukcider
Hi Ray, this is great, I think the pictures really help us to make sense of what Rose has been describing in words.
I'm wondering if, on a page such as this, with a small amount of text attached to each photo, there's a way to present them alongside each other or in boxes with captions perhaps. I'll look out for a good example on another wiki somewhere to illustrate what I'm imagining, then if you like it we could emulate the coding for it. --Andy 22:50, 6 November 2006 (GMT)
Attempt 1:
| Gail went with Rose to finish milling a batch of Yarlingtons, while I was given the task of shovelling and washing the apples still in the trailer | |
| The apples were shovelled into the cut down IBC and then thoroughly washed using the plastic lawn-rake to roll and swirl them in the water. The tines of the rake made a good job of fishing out leaves and bits of grass, and collected the apples without any fear of damaging them. | |
Great!
This page looks really good now - well done you two! Who says wikis can't be pretty?LOL
