Mike without wanting to create an argument, what all that about "Blackthorn sweet"? Blackthorn was always the dry cider, Woodpecker the sweet one.JonS 20:02, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- Why would it create an argument dear chap? Blackthorn Sweet was part of the range with Dry Blackthorn and Blackthorn Super. Blackthorn Sweet was basically a rebranding of Taunton's Autumn Gold. Will do a write up soon about it. CiderMike 09:09, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
- Well thats a marketing gimmick that totally passed me by. But even more confusing because - as I remember it - Autumn Gold was never a "sweet" cider. Fruity, yes (unlike Blackthorn), but still fairly sharp tasting JonS 12:11, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
