I am the editor of britishpubguide.com. A free web site allowing people to add or amend details of any pub in the country. No pub or user is ever charged for use or inclusion in the web site.

Frankly, the site is old-fashioned and needs a damn good revamp, but people are welcome to use it nonetheless.

I am also very much a cider lover, living not 400 yards from the excellent Bridge Inn at Shortwood, near Bristol. I confess to being a fan of Thatcher's Cheddar Valley, though I know many hardened cider drinkers disagree with me. I also enjoy Mole's Black Rat and, when I can find it, Janet's Jungle Juice.

I am a regular, though not terribly good, contributor to the CAMRA Bristol & District Newsletter, Pints West.
