Hi Mike Thanks for the comment thought that as we're always talking about the chemcials in cider it was worth a basic explanation of what they were. I've deliberately not gone into too much details, as the proper place for that is elsewhere, or more techncial sites to which I've linked need to do some more digging though to find out what - if any - nonfermentable sugars are used as sweeteners, eg mannitol or sorbitol, or artifical sweeteners JonS 15:34, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
