Hi Jon, thanks for all the pages and edits you've been making recently, the ukcider wiki is growing nicely and keeping well organised thanks to ongoing contributions from people like yourself and Mike, as well as all the people who just nip in to do their own little bit. There was a server failure yesterday followed by a migration to new hardware and a complete restore from the backup made the previous day. This is a very rare occurrence, and I believe we were lucky and only lost one edit. That was yours, something to the FAQ about HM Customs website. If you remember what it was, you might like to redo the edit there. Sorry about that, and as I said, it's very unusual for anything like this to happen, normally. --Andy 06:19, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

I thought that as we're always talking about the chemcials in cider it was worth a basic explanation of what they were. I've deliberately not gone into too much details, as the proper place for that is elsewhere, or more techncial sites to which I've linked JonS 15:31, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
