About
The company was set up in 2003 to make use of the traditional cider orchard on the farm.
The cider is produced from apples grown at Upper House Farm, which has been in the family for three generations. Apple varieties include "Tom Putt" and some more modern varieties like "Dabinett", are pressed and then matured in traditional oak (mainly ex-rum) barrels giving it a distinctive flavour. These are stored in a stone cellar that was built for storing cider back in the 1700's.
Over the past few years their perry and ciders have won several awards including three consecutive gold awards for the sweetened bottled cider at the Welsh Championships. At the 2009 Great Taste Awards a gold award, three stars, was won for their Discovery and Bramley apple juice and one star for their bottled cider.
They also provide a pressing service for others to make their own perry, ciders and juices.

It is available in many pubs, beer & cider festivals and at N S James and Son Butchers of Raglan, Bridges Community Centre Tea Rooms of Monmouth, Ewys Harold Village Post Office and Stores, Heritage Cafe at Blaenavon World Heritage Centre.
